These golden chandelier earrings with a stud fastener are made of three layers: a whorl motif, a scallop shell, and, finally, three dangling fish.

Fish lie at the root of many world mythologies, even, very literally, in the ancient Arabic story of Bahamut. It is said that Bahamut is a great fish, on whose back is a bull with a tablet made from finest gemstone, whereupon stands an angel holding the world. For the Yakut people this great fish, in concert with the bull that stands atop it, were responsible for the waxing and waning of the tides of the ocean with their movements.

Handcrafted and individually cast. Each piece is unique, which we believe is what gives it its beauty. Each stone is natural, untreated as well as traceable. This means each stone differs in tone and colour. Nickel and lead free. Dimensions: length: 5.5cm.
