Overview:
Seianti was an Etruscan noblewoman, whose richly decorated sarcophagus displayed her wealth and nobility during life. Her tomb, which was discovered in Tuscany, features a statue of Seianti drawing back a draped, stone veil, as she gazes into a mirror. Etruscan jewellery is of unprecedented magnificence in detail, and skill. Seianti’s statue depicts her in a tiara, bracelet, and earrings, adorned in riches in her final resting place. Set with jade, and pearl.
